Meet our graduates who have gone on to achieve great things for the Lord!
Monique Evans
I found Plettenberg Bay Christian School to be a safe and encouraging place as a child. My highlights were our school trips, such as hikes and conventions. Since graduating, I studied for a medical degree, spent time travelling, and now work as a farmer. The most valuable thing I took from PCS was an introduction to a life with Jesus. PCS formed a solid foundation for me.

Plettenberg Bay Christian School really lives up to their motto, “Building Godly Character Through Bible-Based Education”. Godly character, when introduced at home and reinforced through education, is a good building block for a life in relationship with the Lord. My 10 years at PCS was an overall great experience. My favourite highlights from school were the conventions we attended. After I graduated in 2012, I studied and received a Diploma in Hospitality and currently I am working in Marketing and Communications. PCS really prepared me for my career by teaching me to set goals. Goal-setting during my schooling has helped me be diligent in working autonomously.

I think Plettenberg Bay Christian School was a good environment for me to grow in my morals and discipline as a student. I enjoyed the independence and one-on-one learning that students experience at PCS. My highlights were All Africa Student Conventions, free class discussions in the mornings, and the laughs we had in the learning centre. After graduating in 2017, I completed my degree in Consumer Studies, and I’m currently completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Self Directed Learning was the best skill PCS/ACE taught me.
Forever Grateful for PCS

I was a student at Plettenberg Bay Christian School from Grade 1 through to grade 12 and matriculated in June 2019. My time at PCS established a strong, godly foundation on which I am starting to build my life. The staff at PCS pushed me to dream big and do my best. I often find myself reminiscing on my days at PCS and am continuously blown away by God’s goodness. Some of my fondest memories are those from the All Africa Student Conventions I attended as well as my time at the International Student Convention in 2015. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (majoring in psychology and counselling) and I can honestly say that if I did not have the self-discipline I developed and the ability to set and achieve goals from my time at PCS I would not cope with being a full-time student and teacher. My “life scripture verse” is 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” The character I developed and the values I gained during my time at PCS have helped me live out this verse as best as I can. I am forever grateful for my time at PCS and am incredibly proud to be a part of this family.
